Write a focused AI video prompt
Plan one subject, one action and one camera movement for a clearer short video brief.
Updated October 8, 2026Start with a single shot
A short generation benefits from a brief that can fit into one shot. Describe the subject, the action and the setting before adding style. For example: a ceramic teapot sits on a wooden table as steam rises in soft morning light. This gives the model a concrete scene. Asking for several locations, costume changes and a full story within a short clip can make the result harder to control.
Make camera movement explicit
Choose one camera instruction, such as a slow push toward the subject or a gentle orbit around a product. Pair it with one visible action. Avoid stacking conflicting instructions like a locked camera and a rapid handheld zoom. If the scene is already complex, try a fixed viewpoint first. Review the result for subject consistency, motion and composition before changing the brief.
Match the frame to the destination
For a vertical short, choose 9:16 when the selected model supports it. Keep the important subject near the center and leave space for captions you may add later in your editing software. Use the duration and resolution options actually available in the studio. A prompt saying “4K” does not override the output resolution selected in the controls.
An example to adapt
Vertical product scene: an unbranded ceramic teapot on a pale wooden table beside a linen cloth. A thin stream of steam rises from the spout. Soft window light from the left, warm neutral colors, realistic ceramic texture. The camera slowly pushes closer in one continuous shot. No titles, captions or logos. Replace the object, surface and lighting to suit your own idea; this example is a creative brief, not a guarantee of an identical result.
Improve one variable at a time
If the motion feels too busy, simplify the action before changing the entire style. If the composition is wrong, adjust the framing or try a permitted reference image on a model that supports it. Keep notes on which change helped. The homepage samples include editable prompts, but generated outputs vary and should be reviewed before publication.
